4. DO WE USE COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES?
Yes, we use cookies and similar tracking technologies to collect and store your information. Detailed information about how we use such technologies and how you can refuse certain cookies is set out in our Cookie Policy section below (Section 6).
5. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?
We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting or other legal requirements).
Generally, we will keep your account information for as long as your account is active. If you deactivate your account, we may retain some information for a reasonable period for backup, archival, fraud prevention, analytics, or to comply with legal obligations. Information shared publicly (like reviews) may remain visible. Information collected for the waitlist will be deleted within 6 months after the service launch or upon your request, unless you create an account.
When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.
6. COOKIES AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES
Like many online services, Bseech and its partners such as analytics providers use various technologies to collect information automatically when you use our Service. These technologies include cookies, web beacons (also known as pixels or clear GIFs), local storage, and similar technologies (collectively referred to as "Tracking Technologies").
What are these Technologies?
- Cookies: Small text files placed on your device (computer, tablet, mobile phone) when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognize your device and store some information about your preferences or past actions. Cookies can be "session" cookies (which expire when you close your browser) or "persistent" cookies (which stay on your device for a set period or until you delete them).
- Web Beacons/Pixels: Tiny graphic images with a unique identifier, embedded invisibly on web pages or in emails. They are used to understand browsing activity, track link clicks, measure the effectiveness of content or advertising campaigns, and determine if emails have been opened.
- Local Storage: Allows websites or applications to store data locally within your browser (similar to cookies but can store larger amounts of data and isn't automatically sent with every request). This can be used to remember preferences or cache data for faster loading.
How We Use Tracking Technologies
We use Tracking Technologies for several purposes, categorized as follows:
a) Strictly Necessary / Essential:
These are required for the basic operation of the Service and cannot be switched off in our systems. They are usually only set in response to actions made by you which amount to a request for services, such as logging in, setting your privacy preferences, filling in forms, or facilitating secure transactions. Without these, the Service cannot function properly.
- Examples:
- `sessionid` (or similar): Manages your login session.
- `csrftoken`: Helps protect against cross-site request forgery attacks.
- Cookies managing user consent preferences for other tracking.
- Cookies essential for payment processing security (e.g., set by Stripe).
- Load balancing cookies.
b) Functionality:
These technologies enable the Service to provide enhanced functionality and personalization based on your interactions. They may be set by us or by third-party providers whose services we have added to our pages. If you do not allow these, some or all of these services may not function properly.
- Examples:
- Remembering your username (if you choose "Remember Me").
- Storing your language or region preferences.
- Remembering display settings or accessibility choices.
c) Performance and Analytics:
These technologies allow us to count visits and traffic sources so we can measure and improve the performance of our Service. They help us understand which pages are the most and least popular, see how visitors move around the site, identify errors, and test new features. All information these technologies collect is aggregated and therefore generally anonymous (unless linked directly to your account under specific circumstances disclosed elsewhere). If you do not allow these, we will not know when you have visited our site and will not be able to monitor its performance as effectively.
- Examples:
- Google Analytics:We use Google Analytics to understand website traffic and user behavior. Google Analytics sets cookies like `_ga`, `_gid`, `_gat`. You can learn more about Google's practices at Google's Privacy & Terms and opt-out via the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- Internal performance monitoring cookies.
Third-Party Cookies
Please note that some Tracking Technologies are placed by third-party service providers (like Google Analytics, payment processors like Stripe) acting on our behalf or providing services integrated into our platform. These third parties have their own privacy policies governing their use of data. We recommend you review their policies.
Your Choices and Managing Tracking Technologies
You have several options to control or limit how we and our partners use Tracking Technologies:
- Browser Settings: Most web browsers allow you to manage your cookie preferences. You can set your browser to refuse cookies or delete certain cookies. Please note that if you choose to block or delete cookies, some parts of our Service may not function properly. You can usually find these settings in the 'Options' or 'Preferences' menu of your browser. Consult your browser's help documentation for specific instructions:
- Cookie Consent Banner/Tool: When you first visit our Service, you may be presented with a banner or tool allowing you to customize your non-essential cookie preferences. Your choices will be remembered, but you can typically change them later via a link or button located in the website footer or your account settings.
- Request access and obtain a copy of your personal information.
- Request rectification if your information is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Request erasure (deletion) of your personal information under certain conditions.
- Restrict the processing of your personal information under certain conditions.
- Object to processing of your personal information if based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing.
- Data portability (receive your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format) under certain conditions.

If we learn that personal information from users less than 18 years of age has been collected without parental consent where required, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records.
